The Family Planning News Network (FPNN) Community Reporter Emiene Erameh (Allwomen Media) gives her top recommendations for family planning stakeholders from the 8th Nigeria Family Planning Conference.

  1. Improve and enforce policies that reduce stigma for young people and the people who face physical challenges.

  2. Increase health literacy for men to increase family planning uptake among women.

  3. Move away from previous donor funding models for family planning, and move toward local community owning/leading family planning campaigns at the subnational level.
