What the Youth Summit Program Looks Like!

by Innocent Grant

The Young and Alive Summit 2024 will launch in Arusha on December 3, 2024, featuring an opening Sports Bonanza with 200 youth delegates from across Tanzania. On the first day, delegates will "Orange Arusha" join the global community in the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence (GBV).

The youth-centered program includes artistic performances, storytelling, mini-workshops, plenaries, opportunity desks, cultural celebrations, and evening fireside chats to celebrate youth leadership in SRHR work in Tanzania.

The summit’s theme, Breaking Barriers: Youth Voices for Intergenerational Action and Innovation, underscores the commitment of delegates, partners, and government representatives to champion and accelerate progress in SRHR. Together, they will engage meaningfully to establish pathways for intergenerational collaboration.

The full program is now available and can be accessed through FPNN.

The FPNN Community Reporters will bring you behind the scenes to experience the summit as it happens. Follow the journey from December 3–6, 2024 for coverage that is youth-led, youth-focused, and youth-driven.
