Disrupting power dynamics in population studies!

by Innocent Grant, FPNN Community Reporter

The APC Power Shifting Pre Conference has just kicked off. This important meeting was attended by researchers, program managers, data analysts, PhD candidates, young advocates, health practitioners, and journalists to learn and share pathways to disrupt colonial legacies and power dynamics in population research in Africa.

Power shifting or we can call it,  Power Sharing, explores and emphasizes important pathways in advancing equitable participation of researchers, especially from the global south in demographic research studies.

Is there any link between these conversations and sexual and reproductive health?

I am curious to learn that myself, join me in following up on these conversations.
